E-Commerce & CRO

More revenue from the traffic you already have

Doubling traffic is expensive. Doubling conversion rate is usually cheaper, faster and compounds with every channel you run. Most stores have far more headroom in the second than the first.

Where the work happens

Build, optimise, expand.

Platform builds

Shopify and Shopify Plus, WooCommerce at scale, or fully headless when catalogue complexity or performance requires it.

Conversion rate optimisation

Structured experimentation on the pages that matter — product, cart, checkout — with results measured against revenue per visitor rather than click-through.

International expansion

Multi-currency pricing, local payment methods, tax and duty handling, localised content and market-specific shipping logic.

Checkout optimisation

The highest-leverage surface in commerce. Payment method coverage, field reduction, trust signals and abandonment recovery.

Store performance

Commerce sites are heavy by default. We strip the app bloat, fix the image pipeline and get pages loading fast on mobile connections.

Systems integration

ERP, inventory, fulfilment, subscription logic, loyalty and CRM connected properly rather than through fragile app chains.

How CRO actually works

Conversion optimisation has a bad reputation because it is often sold as a list of tips — change the button colour, add a countdown timer. Real CRO is a research and experimentation discipline, and it looks nothing like that.

Research before hypotheses

Analytics funnel analysis, session recordings, heatmaps, on-site surveys and actual customer interviews. The goal is to find where people struggle and why, not to guess at improvements.

Test what matters, at enough volume to know

Small stores often lack the traffic for statistically valid A/B testing. In that case we do not pretend otherwise — we work from research-backed best practice and measure directionally. On high-volume stores, we run proper experiments with pre-registered hypotheses and honest stopping rules.

Checkout deserves disproportionate attention

The typical store loses the majority of its cart-adders before payment. Every removed field, every additional payment method your market actually uses, every clear delivery promise is worth more than most homepage redesigns.

International is a conversion problem

Showing a Turkish shopper prices in dollars, or a German shopper a checkout without their preferred payment method, is a conversion problem long before it is a logistics one. Fixing localisation often produces the largest single lift available.

How we engage

  1. Store and funnel audit

Analytics review, funnel drop-off analysis, technical performance audit and a prioritised list of opportunities ranked by expected impact.

  2. Quick wins

The high-confidence fixes get shipped first — usually performance, checkout friction and mobile issues — so the engagement pays for itself early.

  3. Research programme

Session analysis, surveys and customer interviews to build a hypothesis backlog grounded in evidence.

  4. Experimentation

Continuous testing on the highest-value surfaces, with results documented whether they win or lose.

  5. Expansion

New markets, currencies, payment methods and languages once the core is converting properly.

Frequently asked questions

Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify for most merchants — lower operational burden, better checkout, faster to launch. WooCommerce when you need deep customisation, unusual business logic or already run a WordPress content operation. Headless when catalogue scale or performance demands it. We will recommend based on your situation, not on what we prefer to build.

How much conversion lift can we expect?

It depends entirely on the starting point. A store with a slow, friction-heavy checkout has far more headroom than one already well optimised. The audit gives you a specific, evidence-based estimate before you commit to a programme — not a number pulled from a case study.

Can you migrate our store without losing search rankings?

Yes. Migration requires a complete URL map, preserved category structure, redirect implementation and monitoring afterwards. Ranking loss during migration is a symptom of skipped work, not an inevitability.

Do you handle the international side — tax, duties, payment methods?

We handle configuration and integration: multi-currency pricing, market-appropriate payment methods, tax and duty calculation at checkout, and localised content. Your accountant should own the tax positions themselves; we implement what they specify.
